34 weeks ... counting down!!!!

34 Weeks! WOW! I am definitly pregnant now! I am getting bigger by the day and my schedule is jam packed. I teach all day M-F and coach every night. If I don' t have a couple hour practice then I have a away or home game, which adds at least 5-6 hours to the evening. I am still finding time to exercise at least 4-5 times a week. I have see a difference in what I can and cannot do. It's frustrating, but I'm dealing with it. I will post a picture this week of my Spinning class on the bikes....

We have the crib now, thanks to Grandma Penny and Grampa Don (and all the accessories for it). Dad (Ryan) took my dresser/hutch and sanded and painted it to match her room. It is super cute. I bought pink antique knobs to match, too. Dad also built her a nice little shelf for all her "stuff". We had a little baby shower last Sunday at the Donovans' and we were very shocked to receive her classy cherry wood high chair and her super cool car seat! she is all set!!!! Thank you to all of you who pitched in and bought that for baby dutton.We can't say enough for how thankful we are for all of you especially this time in our lives going through what we're going through! We will tell her the rest of her life about the time she was in the "womb" and all the support we got from the community!

San Diego Feb. 21st

I told everyone about the trip I took to San Diego 2 weekends ago. We got to see my friend Kelly who is also expecting about a week after me. It was great to remember old times, but get to talk about all this "pregnancy stuff". Saturday morning I attended her kickboxing class, so we took pictures afterwards..hence, the workout stuff and looking like we just worked out!!! Also, here's some pics of Ryan and I before we took off to Jess and Mikes' wedding later that day. It was mini duttons' first wedding and she enjoyed it!

7 months this weekend!

February 27th:
Tomorrow I will be 7 months. WOW! I'm definitly growing. The baby is moving more than ever now. She kicks mostly when I want to rest. After teaching aerobic classes she bounces around for a good hour afterwards. I think it shakes her up and then she's used to jumping up and down so she doesn't stop for a bit. We still cannot decide on a name totally. I call her Ella then I call her Kamden.... People need to tell me their opinions here. Which one is more athletic, I would say it's Kamden???
I had a suprise baby shower this last Monday. It was at the school I work at. It was so thoughtful of the staff to do that for me. I already got a swing, many more clothes, blankets, bathing stuff, toys, shoes....you name it, I got it. We have her nursery done (minus a crib). She has super snazzy dresser that matches her colors. Her closet is already almost full. I will take pictures this weekend.
I have pictures to upload from our trip to San Diego last weekend. My good friend Jessica got married and her wedding was fabulous! It was perfect weather, sensational ceremony, great food and a good time. It was mini duttons' first wedding... :) and first flight (and last). I had the puke bag ready during landing on both flights. Not good! motion sickness seems to intensify during pregnancy! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Mini Dutton is on the way!!

Hello to everyone! Yes, the rumors are true, the Dutton family is about to get a little bit bigger and bossier!! Why you may ask? Well, the new ball of fun is a little girl, so we have been told!

If this holds true, she will be the world's best babysitter for the little rascal that will follow!!! I hope that doesn't sound cruel! :) The best news is that she is very healthy and that Dawnelle is as well, and finally showing some bumpage!!! Pictures will follow, of course in PG rated form.

As far as names go, we have been bouncing around as many people surely do. To tell you the truth, when we found out we were pregnant, our conversations about names were all "male". Yes, in the beginning we were hoping for a boy, we will say it, and that's ok!

Dirk, George, Edward...uh, wait, no Sorry for all you George's, Ed's, and Dirk's, but we were headed the original route.

You can give us your opinion via the poll we have posted at the bottom of the blog. We aren't saying that your voice will be heard, but since this is America, you are entitled to your opinion!!

Dawnelle is due around the first week of May. She has begun to feel the baby moving and kicking, as I have experienced as well. It is pretty incredible, to know that your bundle of joy is just waiting for her moment, chillin in mommy's tummy and that our child is the size of a large banana right now!!

For those of you that are up to date with our lives currently, here is a tidbit on how awesome God has been in pushing us along our path. The day after Ryan was accused of all of the crap that has come up, we went to the doctor to get some blood work done. You can imagine our mindset going into that appointment, along with not knowing if we were going to be able to have children together. Following blood tests, our doctor expressed his concern as to why we were worried about our ability to have children. We obviously wanted to know why, and his very simple answer was, "That we had nothing to worry about since you are already pregnant!"
We couldn't believe what we heard. We were going to be able to have our own child! From 24 hours ago to now, it was hard to take in. We thanked God and talked about how he had known this all along, and was setting us up for this. God wants us to know that he is taking care of us, and that he will be there for us!!

5 months and 3 weeks
This is from mom's mouth here. I was feeling a little guilty that we needed to do a little blogspot for the little girl because it seems like the common thing to do. I didn't want her to think we didn't care enough to do a blogspot...haaaaaaa .....
I have had quite a bit of stress throughout this pregnancy. A lot has went on with our local school board and involved our family directly. I tell you this baby is going to be a "fighter" and come out kicking and screaming.....politically...!
Just about a week ago this baby has been moving moving moving. It seems once she started she didn't stop. This seems like a common time, though for them to be moving around.
I am definitly feeling like I'm pregnant now....getting a little belly here. Will post the pictures soon!!!!!
I seem to talk to her now. I always say, "Ella...what's going on?" Even though I don't know if we'll name here that....we always sing.."Ella Ella aya...Under my umbrella". haaaaaaaa!
Ohhh one more thing...I haven't given up coffee. I drink one cup a day and the DR. said it is just fine....there are so many things out there, "dont do this, don't do that". HE said a little caffeine during the day does nothing...and don't even stress. We will see....she will probably be all ADHD...haaaaaa!

We have painted the room pink/brown. We have bought the trim for a thick chair rail in the room....its' going to look awesome. Ryan, get to work and put some of that stuff up!!! Some local people have been so kind in buying me some maternity clothes! I tell you what, I may be able to open an online maternity store before this thing is said and done! I've also gotten some very cute baby clothes for baby Ella!! She is going to be styling that's for sure... More to come!

We have recently visited "Womb With a View" again, and we are back with more pictures of MiniDutton!! 6.5 months and counting... Her room is complete as far as the construction side, now we move on to furnishings! It's amazing that she hasn't even arrived yet, and we are beginning to run out of room in her closet! No school this week for President's Week, so we've been painting a dresser and putting together some things for her wall. Ryan and I have begun baseball and softball practice, and we are busy during our week off starting to get the kids ready! We are headed to San Diego this weekend however for a wedding. One of Ryan's former teammates in the NFL was engaged to a girl that I got to know really well. She is actually getting married this weekend, though not to the same guy. It will be a fun trip, getting to see her truly happy along with seeing Derek and Hillary and hanging out in San Diego. Not bad, especially since we have had such bad weather lately, yes it is raining once again today. Good thing it is a bit warmer, otherwise it would be more of the white stuff!!! It's my 29th birthday today (mini D's mom). 1 birthday away from 30 and first birthday ever being pregnant!!! wooo hoooo, although I cannot have a margarita! haaa! I think I will get some baby presents for my birthday, but that's quite alright with me. I am thinking I need to start putting together her room besides the walls (paint etc...). I put on my softball coaching shirt this morning and it barely covered the bump! I think I will have to invest in some coaching gear that fits pregnant woman! I'm going to look like the softball out there!!!! haaa! Softball starts in 4 days and I'm going to be insanely busy! But that's ok, little dutton will be exposed to daily sports before she's even born! She'll know "STRIKE"....more importantly "home run".
